Hygrothermal render is lightweight, improves thermal and acoustic insulation, stores carbon, is incredibly durable and vapour permeable, fire resistant BAL FZ, feels awesome and looks great. A sneak peak at 3 different hempcrete finishes ble

A sneak peak at 3 different hempcrete finishes blended with timber on this amazingly sustainable and natural home designed by @ecolibriumdesigns and being built by @sec_constructions . The exterior 250mm thick hempcrete walls were installed by mechanical projection using @bcb.tradical Thermo lime binder and rendered with PF80 water repellent lime by @allareasrendering .
The first internal wall and kitchen pantry were hand cast by @wbanger and will be clear coated. The rendered internal walls are trowel finished using Batir Lime for a smooth, natural look.

Hempcrete substrate, the finished rounded corners were hand crafted by @resolute.construction using @bcb.tradical Thermo lime render and a blend of 3 sand types to achieve the required build. Top coat was trowel finished by @allareasrendering using Batir Lime and 2 types of sand with colour oxide from @rockcote #hempcrete

Thanks to @allareasrendering, top coat of coloured lime render on hempcrete home, built by @sec_constructions and hempcrete installation by @resolute.construction and designed by @ecolibriumdesigns . The lime render is mould and fungus resistant and adds insulation value. @bcb.tradical supplied the lime.
